We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the 13th World Congress of the World Institute of Pain. The congress will be held in the Hilton Mexico City Reforma, Mexico, from 19-21 September 2026!

Member Registration

If you are a member of the World Institute of Pain, you need to login to the membership area on the association website where you can register.

Registration Types

Full Registration (member/non member)

Participants will have full access to the Congress. Member rate is available to all association members upon submission of a valid membership number.

Student Registration

Student registration is available for those studying full time and who hold a current Student Identification Card. To be eligible you will need to provide a copy of your current student ID card or a written statement from your supervisor verifying your student status.

Local/Developing Country

Participants who are local to the Congress (From Mexico itself) or on the developing countries list can select the ‘Local/Developing Country Registration type’ during the registration process. To be eligible you will need to provide proof of address, these will be verified. Only countries listed as low or middle income on the World Bank Index will be accepted, you can view the list here.

Payment is required upon registration. We accept Visa, Mastercard or Amex. All payments made must be in US Dollars ($). Payment by bank transfer will incur an additional administration fee of $25 and the link for this can be requested via email.

Member Registration

Terms and Conditions

Payment Policy:
Payment can only be accepted by Visa, Mastercard or Amex.
Should you require payment by bank transfer an additional administration fee of $25 will be charged.
Payments are made payable ONLY to Conference Partners. Payment must be received by Conference Partners within two weeks of receipt of your invoice. If payment is NOT received within two weeks of receiving invoice, you may be subject to additional charges. Please include your name and ID number on the banking reference when paying via bank transfer.

Registration Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations are subject to a $25 administrative fee.
If cancelled before 22nd May 2026 – 100% of the Congress fee is refundable.
If cancelled from 23rd May 2026 to 19th July 2026– 50% of the registration fee is refundable.
No refunds are payable from 20th July onwards.
Please note if you pre-register and do not attend the Congress you will be charged your participation fee and will be required to settle any outstanding balances.

Workshops/Technical Tours:
Workshops/Technical Tours are non-refundable.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations before May 22nd 2026 will be refunded in full.
Cancellations from May 23rd 2026 will not be refunded and cancellation fees may apply.

Changes, substitutions and cancellations of registration:
Substitutions/replacements can be made at any time and are subject to a $25 administrative fee.
Notification of changes or cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the Delegate Services Team at wipcongress@conferencepartners.com.

Cancellation and refund policy:
All applicable refunds will be made after the Congress.
Bank service charges and all administration fees will be deducted from all Congress registration refunds.

Cancellation of the conference
In the unlikely case of cancellation of the event, the organisers shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc. Delegates are encouraged to take out travel insurance when making travel and accommodation arrangements.

Photography, audio recording and video recording
Photography, audio recording and video recording will be taking place at the Congress. The release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of this content will be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by the Congress, its sponsors/exhibitors and its affiliates and representatives. Please notify us if you wish to be removed from any such materials by emailing wipcongress@conferencepartners.com.

Code of Conduct
This Congress is dedicated to providing a harassment-free Congress experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of delegates in any form. Inappropriate language and imagery are not acceptable to be included in presentations, workshops, networking forums and other online media. Congress delegates violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the Congress organisers.
